Other features in the design include each of the fab four faces being in a separate music bar (in a four bar staff) Also, the music notes floating from the guitar travel behind all four heads and then into the core of the apple, representing the world The bite from the apple is the impression they made on the world and music.
The rainbow that starts from Lennon’s head also starts with the colours upside down, with it’s reflections in their hair, then rights itself coming from McCartney’s tie runs around Harrison’s collar then explodes from the sun, again upside down, above the New York skyline. Beside this is San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge.
The same top right side corner represents the influences of Bob Dylan, Elvis, The Beach Boys, and the U.S.A. at the time of “Flower Power “ and the Vietnam War. It includes a marijuana leaf.
The ribbon thrown by the “ Fool On The Hill “ cuts through Ringo’s collar, goes through the window, and becomes Harrison’s collar.
The word “ Transcend “, above Harrison , refers to his Indian and Hare Krishna influences. The four large luminous blue stars simply represent the “ fab four. “ One is overlapped by a hand holding a gun, this refers to both Lennon’s song “ Happiness Is A Warm Gun “ and the gun that killed him. It points to the walrus holding a white dove. “Give Peace A Chance”
